Venice, FL Up for auction is my 1999 Camaro SS Coupe in Sebring Silver with Gray Leather interior and only 51,867 miles. It is all original and adult owned since new. Options on it include the SS package, leather seating, rear defogger, T-Tops with sunshades, Monsoon premium sound system, power driver's seat, keyless entry, AM/FM CD player, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, cruise control. SLP options are the upgraded Bilstien Suspension Package, premium front floor mats, exhaust upgrad with quad outlets and synthetic fluids. This car is all original including paint and interior with no modifications, accidents or problems. It has been garage kept and well cared for. I have owned it since 2008 and know its history from new. It has always been in Florida and Georgia (briefly)and is rust free and impeccable inside and out. I will be happy to offer its owner history story to interested buyers. I am only selling it to make space in the garage for my Trailblazer SS ,which gets to stay because the wife can drive the automatic and it can pull the boat (which is going in the garage). In the last few years, I have had new BF Goodrich Z rated tires, GM Delco A/C Compressor, Delco Alternator, and a battery installed at the local Chevy dealership where I work. I have the original window stickers from GM and SLP.This is an exceptional car inside and out, completely original and unmolested.Thereis some visible wear in the appropriate places including somevery small stone chips on thehood, a scuff in the driver's fender, a small scuff on the bottom of the front bumper and somewearmarks on the driver's side seat bolsterwhere you slide in.I prefer originality, so touch up paint and dye are not in the garage but I cansay that the stone chips arenotvisible unle!ss you look forthem under flourescent lights andthe scuff on the bumper and hood are minorat most. The seat could easily be addressed with some dye should you prefer it be perfect. It does have thetypicalpower window motor issue where they are slow to go up.Its stored inside and seldom drivenand only on sunny days so they are not a big problem for me. The only other issueI will mention is that the third gear synchronizer can bea little stiff on downshifts when its cold and has set forsome time. I only mention it because the car shifts so smoothly otherwise. I hold clear Floridatitle with no liens.It isgarage kept at our home. For shipping purposes, its a residence in zip code 34293. I am selling it to make room and its notdesperation.I do not knowwhat the market price is for an original SS like this so please don't emailasking for my "buy it now" price. If you'd like to make an offer, I will be happy to consider it. I have a reserve and I am sure its reasonable as it isconsiderably less than a paid for the car beforethe tires, compressor andother misc. repairs. I am selling it as-is but please feel free tomake an appointment to inspect it before the auctions end. No test pilots will be tolerated. I will offer serious buyers test rides (not drives) until a final price is agreed on. It has not,and will notberun hard while in my ownership. Iwill help serious bidders as much as possible. It does have a plug in override for the 1st to 4th gear skip shift. Its driven in town and that feature is very annoying as it forces you to shift from 1st to 4th when shifting out of first at low RPM.The override is a simple harness adapter and is not cut or spliced, itcan be unplugged and removed in 2 minut!es if you want that feature re-enabled. The 1st to 4th light in the dash is also disabled with the override so you would never know it was there. |
