Car Notes |
2010.09.27 Ebay
Glendale, NY
This 2001 Camaro SS was modified by SLP from the factory. The color is onyx black and the paint is in great condition; there are no dings, or dents, and there is only one pin-point sized chip on the spoiler and one tiny chip on the bottom corner of the driver's side door. The car has a T56 6speed manual transmission. Although the cluster says 33,273, the car itself actually has 69,000 because the cluster is a replacement to the previous one that malfunctioned. The car has AC, PS, ABS, power windows, doors, driver's seat, and mirrors. It also has a single disk CD player in the dashboard. The car also has a T-top roof and black leather interior that is in great condition. The car does not have back seats since they were removed. The wheels are stock SS wheels that are powder coated black and have a chrome lip. The rear tires are Nitto 555 drag radials and are almost new. The transmission if shifted fast has a slight syncro grind from 2nd to 3rd. The engine, and all other modifications only have 3,500 miles on them or less. The car is street tuned and dyno tuned. It made 482 rwhp and 454 rwtq with a streetable cam. This car can be used as a daily driver. I will include all supporting documents with the car (dyno sheets, engine build sheet). This car has a 408 iron block engine built by Late Model Engines in Houston, Texas. The motor is fully built and I have all of the paper work. This motor is built to handle a 300 shot of N2O but has never had nitrous used on it. It is a GM 6.0 liter, bored and stroked to a 6.8 liter. The engine contains: - Eagle 4340 4inch stroker crank, Wiseco custom 4.13inch bore 1cc dome pistons, Callies 6.125 Hbeam rods with ARP 2000 7/16inch bolts, custom grind cam, GM high volume oil pump, and double roller timing set. - L92 heads, L76 intake manifold%!2C Nick Williams 90mm throttle body, 42lb injectors, Race Tronics fuel system, Turn 1 light weight aluminum power steering pulley & pump, and ASP under-drive crank pulley. - American Racing Header (ARH) 1 7/8" long tube headers (stainless steel), ARH 3" stainless steel Ypipe, and a 3" Borla exhaust with quad tips. - Spec 3+ clutch assembly, Spec flywheel, B&M short shifter, and line lock. - Random Technologies tubular adjustable torque arm, Hotchkis 35mm front sway bar, and Bilstein shocks with Eibach pro spring kit - Moser 12 bolt rear end fully optioned with 4.10 gears. Everything is pretty much new on the car and I just replaced the battery with a new Bosch battery 1 month ago. The car has no check engine light and passes inspection for NY so I am sure it will in any state. I am only selling this car because I have too many toys. This is a one of a kind and a real head turner. |
