Jackson, Mississippi, United States Up for Bidding is a 1997 Chevrolet Z-28 with the SLP SS Package.. It also has a After-Market Body kit and Custom paint job.. Drive train is a 6-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shift Kit Installed.. RPO R7T (SS Package by SLP) was available through dealers, but was a non-Chevy modification by SLP Engineering. It included 305hp engine, special hood with functional scoop and forced induction, restyled decklid spoiler, revised suspension (coupes), 17x9" Corvette-style ZR-1 wheels with P275-40-ZR17 tires (coupes), and special badging. Other items available separately. Colors limited to White, Polo Green, Silver, Black, and Red. I also added Brand new corvette rims last year. I have also added a flowmaster exhaust system. The Car has t-tops. What it doesn't have is a sound system.. I had an $8000 sound system custom installed and it got ripped off last year.. In the process of stealing it somebody cracked the front dash trying to get the 3 front dash speakers out. I have included a picture of the damage. I also have a minor dent in the body and in the right rear tail light. The left side of the body kit has a couple of flaws to the paint that could be easily fixed.. I have never smoked in the car and it has the original SS floormats (Grey Carpet). I have taken excellect care of the car running ony Mobile One Synth oil since after break-in and changing the oil every 3000 miles.. The only mechanical problem that I'm aware of- the Service Engine Soon light has been on comming on every few months.. I take it to my mechanic and he checks and clears the code (some emission code) but it recurs again in a few weeks.. The Front Brakes were re-done about 4000 miles ago.. The tires are about 1 year old (they came with the Vette rims) and are in good condition still. It will prob need rear brakes at some point next. If you're the high bidder, I'm asking for a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the bid closing via paypal. The car is in Jackson, MS and buyer is responsible for picking it up.. Balance of payment could be any kind of guarantied funds (Elect transfer, certified check, ect). |
