You're looking at a super clean and loaded 2000 Z28 SS. It is a true SS, originally modified by SLP; you can reference the VIN or the SLP sticker on the passenger door. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle. The vehicle has a clean title and has not been wrecked, the second owner painted the vehicle Viper Steel Grey Pearlcoat (VSG) in august of 2004. The signature on the dash belongs to Scott Settlemire (a.k.a. the f-body father) who signed it at a car show. The car is in great mechanical shape and is exceptionally clean. This car has been my baby; I'm selling the vehicle to put down on a 5th gen, otherwise I would not be motivated to sell.

I recently had a dent taken out of the rear passenger quarter panel, a keyed scratch taken out of the rear driver side quarter panel and the front end touched up and cleared, so the body is perfect and the paint is near flawless.

Mechanically the car is solid and fully functional. Cosmetically the car is a 10 inside and out; the paint and interior are in excellent condition, there are a few flaws which are very minor, they are pictured and include:

· A chip on the hatch lid

· A couple of touched up scratches on the bottom of the passenger side door

· The tint on the back glass is bubbled

When I bought the vehicle the gear selector began to pop out of reverse so the transmission was rebuilt a year ago in March of 2008. An OEM clutch, slave, & t.o. bearing went in at the time the transmission was pulled. To date, the shifts are excellent and firm. The transmission rebuild included;

* 1st & 2nd synchronizer rings
* 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th carbon kevlar synchronizer rings
* brass reverse synchronizer ring
* front and rear seals
* shift fork pads
* synchronizer keys
* retaining springs
* shifter bushing

Tires are about 70% with 275/40/17 on all 4 corners.

To my knowledge the car has never been sprayed, my screen name on LS1tech.com is greysteel_M6. I purchased the vehicle from another forum member, 00Streak; I looked over his thread history before I bought the car and didn’t see any activity in the nitrous forums so I took his word for it.
