2009.02.9 Ebay
Valencia (Santa Clarita), California, United States
2001 Camaro SS, LS1 6 speed, T-tops, low mileage for the year, excellent condition. Rare pewter/black color combination. Very clean! Owned by enthusiast and meticulously maintained since new. Same owner since early 2002. Oil always changed with Mobile 1 synthetic with Mobil 1 filter. Always garaged. Primarily used as a fun car. Charcoal leather Interior in excellent shape (see pics). Minimal wear on drivers seat for mileage, passenger and rear seat like new. Carpet in perfect shape. Paint in excellent shape. Factory Hurst shifter and six disk CD changer with cassette in dash. No curb rash or missing lug nut covers on wheels. Tires are BFG G-Force KDW's with plenty of thread left. Corsa stainless steel cat back exhaust with premium tips and lifetime warranty on the muffler. Every thing works as it should. AC blows nice and cold, all windows works fine, CD changer, etc.
The following maintenance was done by owner at around 50,000 miles:
* Coolant system flushed and refilled with Preston Dex-Cool.
* Brake fluid flushed and changed -New DieHard Battery -Serpentine belt and fuel Filter
* Two new GM catalytic converters replaced under warranty
* Two new forward 02 sensors
The bad, and please keep in mind I am very picky about my vehicles and want to be as thorough as possible in this ad:
* One small door ding on each quarter panel. Can only see at certain angles, you have to have a pretty keen eye. I tried to take pics but it was tough to get them to show up.
* Some small stone chips I touched up, but again you really have to look. I have a small can of GM touch up paint and did a pretty good job touching them up last time I polished the car
* Light scuff on bumper (hardly noticible, see pic)
* Recently had a stone chip on the windshield repaired.
* When it is hot out there is a creak/squeak in the front end some where. I tried to track it down, but it has to be warm and I have to be driving around for a while. No clunks or looseness in the front end, just noisy sometimes, like urethane bushings. Someone told me that greasing the sway bar bushings would probably do the trick. |
