VERY CLEAN/ GARAGED 1998 LS1 CAMARO SS WITH COMPLETE FRESH TOP END AND DRIVE LINE!

I BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM A VERY CLOSE FRIEND A YAER AGO. HE PURCHASED THE CAR IN STOCK CONDITION.
HE TOOK THE CAR TO MTI IN HOUSTON AND HAD THEM DO THE FOLLOWING:

YOU CAN DO THE MATH, THERE WAS A LOT OF MONEY SPENT HERE!
I HAVE ALL RECEIPT, FLOW SHEET ON HEADS AND DYNO SHEETS SEE PICTURES
BEFORE THE NEW TRANNY, TIRES, BBK THROTTLE BODY, SLP CRANK PULLEY AND FUEL PUMP THE CAR MADE 403 RWHP AND 498 CRANK HP. LOOK @ THE 2ND DYNO SHEET.
OBIVOUSLY I HAD NO INTESION SELLING THIS CAR! IF THERE WAS ANYTHING THAT LOOK WORN OR WAS IN QUESTION, IT WAS REPLACED.
THE BOTTOM END IS TIGHT, CLEAN AND STRONG, YOU CAN TELL WHEN IT FIRES. THE CAR STARTS IMMEDIATLEY WITH NO HESITATION OR SMOKE. THERE ARE NOW LEAKS ON THIS CAR. IT HAS NO ISSUES WHAT SO EVER, LOOK AT PICTURES OF WHEN I PUT THE TRANNY IN AND HOW CLEAN THE BACK OF THE ENGINE IS. I ALSO PUT A NEW REAR MAIN SEAL IN SINCE I WAS RIGHT THERE.
THIS CAR HANDLES INCREDIBLEY!!!

ALL THE WORK MY BUDDY HAD DONE WAS PERFORMED IN THE PAST YEAR @ 96K MILES
AND
ALL THE WORK I HAVE DONE HAS BEEN IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS OR LEES AND I HAVE PUT LESS THAN 2K MILES ON IT.
I THINK I HAVE REPLACED EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR. IT IS MY WEEKEND TOY. IT CAN BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE/ ANYTIME, IT RUNS 170-180 WITH THE AC ON IN DEAD HEAT OF SUMMER.
I AM IN MY LATE 30'S AND HAVE BUILT MANY CARS OVER THE YEARS, I RESEARCHED EVERY MOD DONE TO THIS CAR BEFORE DOING SO TO HAVE THE BEST COMPROMISE BETWEEN GOOD HP, HANDLING, DRIVEABILITY AND BEING ABLE TO TAKE MY GIRL FRIEND TO DINER AND NOT HEAR HER COMPLAIN ABOUT NOT HAVING AIR CONDITIONING OR BEING UNCOMFORTABLE! THE WAY THE TUNE IS IN THIS CAR: IT IS VERY SMOOTH UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS, GOOD FUEL ECONOMY ETC. ONCE YOU LEAN INTO IT TO ABOUT 80% THE TUNE BECOMES VERY AGGRESSIVE AND IT WILL EASILY SPIN THE 295 BFS KDWs ON A ROLL IN SECOND GEAR. THE TRANNY THAT FRANK @ PERFORMA BUILT DID IN THIS CAR IS OUTSANDING. THE MORE AGGRESSIVE YOU ARE WITH THE THROTTLE, THE MORE AGGRESSIVE IT SHIFTS. CAR CAN BE MANUALLY SHIFTED OR LEFT IN OVERDRIVE AND HAS THERE LOCK UP CONVERTER FOR GOOD HIGH LOW RPM CRUISING. |
