Car Notes |
2008.12.20 Ebay
Ashburn, Va, USA
Here is a well maintained 2000 Camaro SS LS1, 6 Speed T Top car I ordered new in 2000. The car has been garage kept and is a Arizona car; which means no rust! The Engine, Transmission, and rear end are stock, unaltered aside from the K&M filter. The paint is original, however the stripe was added and it is painted Candy Gold. Minimal oxidation on the black if any and slight to the Gold on the hood. A few Rock chips in the hood that have been touched up. The car was waxed regularly and rarely saw rain. There is One small door ding in the RR fender by the wheel openeing. It has not ever been in a accident. The tires are evenly worn and are average condition. The interior has only minor wear on the dirvers seat from getting in and out. The car has not been smoked. Overall a very nice example of a Clean SS. Always gets compliments wherever I go. Yes it is fast.
Maintenance:
I have all the maintenance records from new and receipts for all work professionally performed. The oil has been changed every 3K, the fuel filter every 35K, Transmission every 35K and the Rear End every 35K. The belts were changed at about 50K. The major Tune Up was performed at the dealer 70K and at that time the clutch was adjusted, Rear Pinion Seal replaced, and Rear Main Seal. Also the Fuel Pump was replaced along with the Fuel filter. At 60K the thermostat was replaced along with lower radiator hose and a new Power steering line. At around 65K the car had a alignment performed at the dealership and stated that the car needs nothing and meets GM Standards. The AC was replaced Three years ago and blows ice cold.
Upgrades:
10 Disk CD Shuttle. SLP 1 1/2 lowering springs front and rear, Hotchkis Bump Steer, Hotchkis Trailing Arms and Panhard bar. Recent full brake job with Cross drilled/slotted Erada Speed Rotors Front ant Rear. SLP Loudmouth Cat back exhaust and a K&M filter. Z06 Corvette Clutch and Flywheel Assembly. Rare Three Piece Enkei 17x10 reversed wheels made for RK Sport in California that have been professionally refinished by WSI in Tempe Arizona. New Halo Projector Headlights not yet installed.
Inspections are welcome if made in advance and paid for by the interested party. Feel free to email me with your questions and I will be happy to answer them. |
