2008.12.19 Ebay
Port Saint Lucie, Florida, United States
2000 Camaro SS: Light Pewter exterior (code 11), Ebony interior (code 192)
49,900 miles, Auto trans, T-tops.
MINT original - not a clone. Much less than normal wear, tear, etc. than her age or mileage suggests. The interior still has “new car smell”. This car rarely spent any time parked in the sun. The roof does not leak.
Always garaged, always Mobil-1, only adult driven, zero track time and she has never worn drag radials, slicks or any race-type tires. You will find no burnout rubber in the wheel wells. I have nothing to hide and no one will be disappointed about this car.
She has never been abused, comes with all of her paperwork including the build sheet and both window stickers (GM & SLP).
Her factory-ordered SLP options include: Dual/dual high-perf. exhaust, embroidered “Camaro SS” mats and chrome ZR-1 wheels. (see photo)
I’m the second owner; the first was a 55+ (age) female who pampered her. She bought a high-mileage Toyota Celica for her daily-driver and left the SS in the garage. I’ve known her since before she took this car home from the dealership.
This car has all of the GM options, except ASC / traction control, plus dealer-installed Delco 12-disc CD changer w/ two magazines.
No bodywork, no curb hits, no dings, no dents and original paint. A custom fit car cover is included. The floor mats are free from wear.
Zero sun damage. The weather-stripping still retains its original sheen without Armor All or Silicone and the paint will pass the infamous “fluorescent light” test. Car guys will know what this means.
The rear fascia has no imbedded dirt, granules, etc. in the low-pressure area. F-body guys will know what this means.
I originally bought her with intentions to modify and dip her into the low-12’s. A year and about 3500 miles later I now feel she’s too nice for that. The only parts I’ve installed are the SLP “air lid”, SLP 160 degree thermostat and SLP fan switch mounted in an aluminum bracket which I fabricated. I then used an existing factory bolt to mount it. No holes were drilled and no wires were cut during the installation.
Delivery, pick up and / or shipping (and all costs of such) are the sole responsibilities of the buyer; however I will assist once the arrangements are made.
A $550 deposit must be received within 48 hours through Pay Pal. The balance must be received within 7 days, however only a cashier’s check or money order will be accepted.
I reserve the right to end this auction at any time upon receiving a reasonable offer and deposit.
I will be happy to make the vehicle available for inspection by a mechanic and/or buyer. This must be by appointment due to my work schedule.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions before bidding. This vehicle will be sold "as is". |
