Tallahassee, FL, United States I never ever said I would, but I am doing it. Private seller must part with this rare 1996 Camaro SS SLP in excellent condition. The car has been babied ever since I bought it from Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet of Pompano Florida in 2001. The first and original owner had the car as part of his muscle car collection and rarely drove it but lost his money and had to disperse with some of the collection. This car going to dealer: where I found it in 2001. The SS is ALL ORIGINAL except for!!!!!! 4:11 Gears which get it to red line faster (they replaced the 3:75 gears) and a Super Chip was installed taking of the speed limitations of 145mph, and boosting the car's computer for more power. The Black leather interior is gorgeous, you wont find a 1996 SS with better. Standard from the factory an awsome BOSE sound system and beautiful T-Tops for the nice summer days and nights. CAR CLEANING: I am religious about my car and the way it is cleaned, there for I am the only one that has ever cleaned it!!!!! That means NO BODY has ever touched this. I Personally hand was my car with a sheepskin mit that never touches anything, I use Deep Sudsing soap and only the best and most expensive products. NO MACHINES, NO DETAILER THAT HAS NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING. I also cover the car 24/7 when I am not using it, with water proof and sun proof covers. Total new for this car was $31,104. There are absolutely no problems with the car, it runs strong and hard. When ever something was wrong it was taken right to the chevy dealer to be fixed. I just replaced the AC system two months ago and it BLOWS COLD. The passenger and driver windows have 2002 motors, 1996 did not have good window motors. This car was serviced like crazy, oil changes all the time even when I didnt drive it, and I always used mobile 1 synthetic. The engine coolant/water pump was replaced in 2005, so the engine temperature is always low! Last week I had the fuel filter replaced and the brake fluid flushed and refilled. A note about the sound of speed: This car is FAST and LOUD. The SLP exhaust from the factory gives this car an amazing throaty growl. This car has excellent highway MPG, you can cruise in 6th gear going 80 just breaking 2000 RPM using 28MPG, thats better than a V6. But when you need the power its there!. THIS CAR HAS ONLY 39,084 MILES AND ITS A 1996. EVERY WHERE I GO PEOPLE THINK ITS BRAND NEW, IF YOU PUT IT UP NEXT TO A 2002 OR ABOVE YOU WILL THINK THIS 1996 IS NEWER. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A FLORIDA CAR, COMES WITH CLEAN TITLE, NO CRASHES NEVER!!!!! I HAVE A LOT OF MEMORABILIA THAT I CAN GIVE TO THE WINNER SOME AT MY HOME IN SOUTH FLORIDA BUT I WILL GET IT FOR YOU. LAST BUT NOT LEAST IF YOU NEED THIS CAR DELIVERED WE CAN TRY TO WORK SOMETHING OUT. CAR IS LOCATED IN TALLAHASSEE FL. I TOOK A LOT OF PICTURES BUT REMEMBER THIS A 1996 AND IT HAS THE USUAL 'PIPS' IN THE FRONT FROM SOME OCCASIONAL HIGHWAY DRIVING.
