2008.01.15 Ebay
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
You are bidding on a one owner, adult driven, totally stock, unmodified, unmolested 325 horsepower 5.7 liter V8 "SS" that has been pampered and garaged since Day 1. The vehicle currently has a a GM MajorGard extended warranty, along with a clear title and a clean CarFax. I originally leased this vehicle for 36 months starting January 19, 2001 and purchased it at the conclusion of the lease. All books and service records, original keys and remotes come with the car. Believe me - you won't find a nicer SS anywhere in the country. As you can see by the photographs and the description, the mileage is very low - about 6,200 miles per year - owing to the fact that this is just one of several vehicles that I own and use. The paint on this car is incredible (no orange peel!). The factory really outdid themselves when this one went thru the paint booth. Also, I had the clear coat ultra-fine wet sanded and buffed right after taking delivery, so it's like looking into a mirror when you look closely at this paint. The leather seats show no appreciable wear and the carpets are like new. In traditional Chevrolet fashion, the A/C is ice cold - you can hang meat in this cockpit on the hottest of days! The factory Monsoon sound system is more than adequate to play your favorite CD's with enough clarity and volume to give the guy in the car next to you permanent hearing damage. Oval stainless exhaust tips surround the factory original "pea shooters" (just in case you want to go back to those anemic, unattractive little exhaust openings). The OEM Goodyear tires came to the end of their useful tread life at 35,000 miles, so I refitted the 17 inch alloy wheels with Dayton "Daytona" Z rated rubber; great grip wet or dry and much quieter than the Goodyears. They also have a much better treadlife wear rating than the originals, as the photos show. Rear shocks were getting tired back at the end of 2007, so new shocks were installed. This car is as tight and rattle free as the day it was delivered! All glass is 100% and is factory tint (no aftermarket dark tinting). Oil and filter have been changed just about every three thousand miles, give or take a hundred, and I have fed it a steady diet of 93 octane BP Gold and Sunoco.
Beyond this description, I'll let the photos do the talking. And you are invited to call me to make an appointment to personally inspect the car and test drive it before you bid. Part of my "collection", I am selling the SS to make room for new M-B coupe. Please ... don't call and ask what the reserve is. I have set it well within KBB and NADA range. This SS is a steal at this price! If you are serious about an SS, this is your ride. Bid confidently and with your focus being on winning this auction. |
