Greenville SC Mileage:1,711 Winning Bid: $42,500 This 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS is one of a reported 29 examples for the model year that were delivered new to Berger Chevrolet of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and subsequently modified with the Berger 75th Anniversary package. This example is believed to be one of three that was also fitted with the GMMG Phase 2X performance package according to the seller. The car is finished in Navy Blue Metallic over Ebony leather upholstery, and power is provided by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 differential. Berger Chevrolet installed a chambered exhaust system, GMMG P2X cylinder heads, a COMP Cams camshaft, 1.5″ lowering springs, and ten-spoke 17″ wheels. Additional equipment includes a Hurst short-throw shifter, removable T-top roof panels, cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry, and a Monsoon audio system with an AM/FM/CD stereo. The car resided in Florida before it was acquired by the seller in 2021. This Camaro SS now shows 1,700 miles and is offered with Chevrolet and Berger window stickers, manufacturer’s literature, a 75th Anniversary car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name. The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was modified by Berger when new and features a high-flow air box with a “Prescribed Power by Berger” decal as well as the GMMG Phase 2X performance package, which included a computer recalibration with a 6,500-rpm rev limiter, a COMP Cams camshaft, P2X cylinder heads, and a revised throttle body, pushrods, and valve springs. Berger rated output at 475 horsepower when new, and signatures of GMMG founder Matt Murphy and Berger crew members adorn the underside of the hood. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 differential. A chambered dual exhaust system was fitted by Berger along with a SPEC lightweight flywheel. Manufacturer’s literature along with Chevrolet and Berger window stickers are included in the sale.
